Seeking civic minded person to serve on Town of Otego Planning Board for an expiring term beginning in January 2025.
Planning Board Responsibilities:
The Otego Planning Board is a voluntary advisory board appointed by the Otego Town Board to serve five year terms. Duties include oversight of land use; reviewing site and subdivision plans; issuing special use permits; and reporting to the town board on referred matters. The planning board meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm. Annual training is required.

Clean-up Day in Otego:
Town of Otego residents are encouraged to bring old standard size tires and white goods to the Otego Highway Dept, 3520 State Hwy 7, on Saturday, May 9, 2026 8 am to 12 pm. Otego residents only and ID is required. No refrigerators will be accepted unless freon has been removed. Maximum of 8 tires per family and they should be clean and dry.
Otego Sale Day and Fire Department Chicken Barbeque: Will be on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Enjoy the day and be careful of the traffic and pedestrians.
